Made it to ID… but had to turn back to Austin :(

After being in Moab for a few days, having fun out on the mtb trails and enjoying Arches National Park, we headed up north to ID, making our way to Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton. We stayed in an RV Park close to Boise for  a week and from there we were planning on heading up to Yellowstone for two weeks… but plans drastically changed…

We had to change our plans at last minute due to personal problems back home and instead of going up to Yellowstone and continuing our journey as planned, we had to drive back to Austin TX from Boise area in a rush. We drove 3 days to get back to Austin, sleeping at Walmart parking lots along the way, and safely, but sad, we made it back to Austin.

We ended up having to stay in Austin for the summer instead of being in Washington State as we had planned. We stayed in an RV Park close to Bastrop TX for a couple of weeks and finally took off once again in our adventure on Sept, 9, 2016.

This showed us that we can plan our tentative RV route, but we always have to be prepared for plan changes and adapt.

We left Austin on September 9, 2016 once again, this time, we decided to head to Lake Tahoe since we wanted to enjoy it once again before it got cold.

Adventures On Wheels

We are Rubi and Eduardo. We are outdoor lovers. We enjoy mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking... and pretty much anything that has to do with being outdoors. For a while we had wanted to travel around our awesome country, exploring everything along our path. We took the leap and decided to do just that back in January 2016 and have loved every minute of it! We enjoy taking pictures as a hobby to share them with our friends and family.
