Visiting Moab and Arches National Park

Okay, our awesome friends from Austin came to hang out with us, mountain biking around Moab and Fruita, but unfortunately they had to go back to Austin 😦 …. After they left, we decided to check out of the RV park in Fruita and come down to Moab for a few days to explore this area.

While there are several awesome RV Parks around this area, we didn’t want to pay to much and wanted to be close to MTB trails. We were going to stay at the BLM site that is north of Arches National Park, but instead opted to camp at San Flats Recreational Area… and we loved it! … Our actual logo picture is from that campsite 🙂 We spent 3 nights there. They don’t have any services, no electric or water, and just composite toilets, but it was perfectly fine for us, specially because the trail head to one of the best MTB trails of the area was right in front of us, slick-rock trail! We venture into that trail and spent the rest of the time walking around Moab and exploring the campsite itself. And of course we visited Arches National Park… twice!

Moab in general is a great small town to visit and highly recommend it to everyone that enjoys outdoor activities. There are two national parks close to town and a beautiful state park. There are several off road activities and water activities to enjoy around the area… and of course there are some AMAZING mountain biking trails!

Adventures On Wheels

We are Rubi and Eduardo. We are outdoor lovers. We enjoy mountain biking, hiking, paddle boarding, kayaking... and pretty much anything that has to do with being outdoors. For a while we had wanted to travel around our awesome country, exploring everything along our path. We took the leap and decided to do just that back in January 2016 and have loved every minute of it! We enjoy taking pictures as a hobby to share them with our friends and family.
